AGI Open Access Policy

AGI follows the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) guidelines for open access journals. The DOAJ, an index of open access journals from around the world, is committed to ensuring that quality content is freely available online.

AGI Is Fully Open

Digital versions of AGI content are freely accessible online to users and their institutions without fees or paywalls. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from AGI or the author.

In general, AGI adheres to DOAJ’s recommendations on best practices for open access journals, including:

  • Information about the journal and publisher is truthful and not misleading
  • AGI does not charge author fees
  • Authors’ rights and copyright ownership are clear and stated on the website.

AGI Uses Creative Commons Copyright Licenses

Toward promoting the widest distribution of authors’ works, AGI uses the Creative Commons copyright licenses as recommended by DOAJ.

Open Access is the condition where the copyright holder of a scholarly  work grants usage rights to others using an open license (Creative Commons or equivalent) allowing for immediate free access to the work and permitting any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.

AGI Advertising Policy

AGI follows the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) guidelines for advertising. which in turn follow DOAJ's Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, The following policy includes mentions of journal sponsorship and funding.

Advertisements:

  • Shall not be intrusive
  • Shall be separate from scholarly and editorial content
  • Shall be marked as advertising if not obvious
  • Will not affect editorial decision making

Direct marketing shall be appropriate, well-targeted, and unobtrusive.
